UTS is a dynamic and innovative university in central Sydney with over 40,000 students. One of Australia’s largest universities, UTS has a distinct model of learning, strong research performance and a leading reputation for engagement with industry and the professions.
Assoc. Prof. Matthew Kearney and Prof. Sandy Schuck will be the key points of contact for the involvement of UTS in this project. Schuck is a co-director and Kearney is a core member of the STEM Education Futures Research Centre: a designated research strength in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at UTS. The group is resourced to investigate the changing contexts and practices of contemporary life resulting from new forms of learning (especially in STEM contexts), increased mobility and new technologies, and hence is well placed to be a valuable partner in this project.
